I am Jo Brown, I am a Wellbeing Coach, Physical Activity Coach and passionate about helping people become as healthy as they can both mentally, physically and removing toxins from their life.
How do I achieve it? The improvement is achieved using techniques specifically designed for you.
Qualified wellbeing and life coach who has completed the accredited Raw Horizons Wellbeing Course, various workshops run by England Athletics and The Chimp Management Company and various CPD courses.
Through my life I have dealt with challenges, feeling overwhelmed and continues to work through them, when we face these feelings it is a sign that we are growing and we have to move forward to become a stronger and better person.
I feel because I have experienced the challenges that I have in my life, I am able to have empathy with my clients and that I have the knowledge, skills and tools to help them to become an healthier, confident and positive person.
Who is Jo Brown, I hear you ask…
I am a lady who is over 50 years of age, who spent 24 years working in a GP surgery starting as a receptionist and finishing as a practice manager, while working 30+ hours a week, being a mum to 2 boys and being a volunteer coach at a local athletics club for over 10 years. During my time in the NHS I saw a pattern where people where stressed with life suffering anxiety, depression and addictions, this then led the patient to develop a chronic illness which then would progress. At that time, I was stressed out, seeing GP’s being prescribed anti-depressants, seeing counsellors, life falling apart.
I left the NHS and started coaching children which I love, doing outdoor activities (hikes, paddling) but still something was missing, I remember a visit to the GP where she said, I don’t understand what is wrong, you are doing everything, try writing a gratitude diary. Then late 2018 I took a path of developing myself personally, not for work on myself, I finally found the solution working on my Self Awareness and worked with a coach to do the final step. What a difference it made. I am now off the Anti-depressants and have been for a while.
I am now on a mission to show as many people as I can, how they can transform their life and live the life that they have always wanted.
A standard session allows you the opportunity and time to look at your life and see how you would like to transform it and set a plan in place how to achieve it.
The executive session. allows you to explore further about your values, beliefs and much more, specifically for your requirements and this will involve you receiving workbooks.

The first appointment is essential to explore what you wish to work through, how you wish to work through it and what approaches will work best for you. This generally lasts 60 to 90 mins
Session fees are payable in advance once the booking is confirmed by both parties.

If you have to cancel the next appointment there will be no charge, as long as the cancellation is more than 48 hours before.
If a cancellation is made within 48 hours a 50% fee is payable
Where are you now? What successes have you had? Way way beyond where I thought I could ever be. Rather than finishing a journey, I’ve started one where there’s no ending. So so many successes, I have both self-belief and self-worth of myself which are probably the most important successes. I now believe that things that I thought were impossible to achieve are now more than possible. Going away after each sessions and thinking what Jo had said to me, getting me actively involved in each sessions. Encouraging me to suggest ideas rather than let her doing all the work. And doing the homework, gave me plenty of thinking time as well as writing it down each week.
I was struggling with being argumentative, had a fear of meeting new people and fear of being judged. I had tried talking to my family about things that were going wrong. I have changed my life for the better, I am less argumentative, I can talk to new people without fear of being judged. I am able to talk to people and I also go out for walks. If you feel you can not talk to your family, find someone who wont judge you and will listen
